Redefined Media is seeking a reliable, self-motivated Videographer & Editor to work with us on a contract, project-based basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys capturing authentic moments, and can deliver high-quality work with consistency and accountability. The contractor will be responsible for pre-production planning, on-site filming, and post-production editing for assigned projects. Responsibilities include operating cameras, setting up lighting, capturing high-quality footage, and executing edits that align with creative direction and project goals. This role requires clear communication and collaboration with Redefined Media and clients to produce compelling visual content that meets agreed-upon timelines and deliverables.

• Proficiency in Video Production, including pre- and post-production workflows

• Experience with Camera Operation and Shooting Video

• Strong skills in Lighting setup and techniques

• Proficiency in handling Camera equipment and ensuring optimal performance

• Attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, high-quality video content

• Time-management skills to meet deadlines and maintain project timelines

• Access to reliable transportation and gear (camera setup preferred but not required)

• Positive, adaptable attitude and strong work ethic

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or related field is a plus

• Knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc)

• Film and edit video content based on assigned project scope and deliverables

• Support shoots as needed, including half-day or full-day productions, depending on project requirements

• Prioritize Redefined Media project timelines and agreed-upon deadlines

• Capture high-quality event coverage, lifestyle footage, and behind-the-scenes content

• Serve as Second Camera Operator or Assistant Camera on larger productions when required

• Manage, label, and organize footage to support efficient post-production workflows

• Complete edits on schedule while meeting established creative direction and quality standards

• Maintain clear and timely communication with the Creative Producer and project team

• Be available for evening and weekend shoots as required, particularly for event-based projects
