Homecoming
Week2026
October 12–17 | Concert on October 16
Six weeks of content built to make homecoming feel like something students, alumni and the wider community are already part of — so the concert is the night everyone shows up to, not the night they hear about after.
- What we're going for
- Awareness. Free event,
no ticket to sell. - Weekly cadence
- 1–2 videos a week,
plus flyers. - Who posts
- UH posts, collabs
CSC + Redefined.Media.

How the six weeks run
As soon as UH clears it
Lineup drop
The announcement is the loudest thing we have, so it goes first and everything after it has a name to hang on. One piece teed up ahead of it to give the reveal something to answer.
- Foam finger mic on the street — cheerleaders asking students who they want to see live, shot at the home opener
- Lineup reveal video — the answer to the question we just asked, cut with game energy
- Lineup flyer — the static that gets reposted everywhere
Mid–late September
Nostalgia
Pull in the people who already have a homecoming in their memory. Alumni carry this phase, and it's the softest way to get older Hawaiʻi audiences paying attention to a student event.
- Alumni storytelling video — one-word answers up top, then favorite memories and how homecoming felt
- Aloha Stadium chairs — sit down in the old seats at a home game and talk about the stadium
- Outrigger giveaway — post a throwback photo from an old game to your story, entries collected in an IG story category
- Throwback flyer — homecoming then and now
Late September – Oct 11
Anticipation
The longest stretch and the one that does the real work. Campus energy, the teams, the vendors and the brands — every piece adds a reason to care and a new audience to borrow.
- Band and cheer on the lawn — marching band playing while cheer performs, plus Kainoa Carlson on camera
- Volleyball barcode drops — women's team posting codes around campus
- Men's volleyball feature — format still open
- Man-on-the-street collab — bring in local street interview creators to ask homecoming questions
- Vendor features — the vendors who'll be at the event, so the night has a face before it happens
- Brand activations — Active by Teal and Sweet Enemy, tied back to their recent UH work
- Vendor and schedule flyers — what's happening, where, all week
Oct 12–17
Homecoming week
Everything is already shot by now. This week is countdown, presence and coverage — short turnarounds and stories rather than new productions.
- Countdown flyers — daily, simple, reposted across all three accounts
- Concert night coverage — live stories from the show as it happens
The week after
Recap
The piece that makes next year easier to sell — to students, to sponsors and to whoever plays the next one.
- Concert recap video — the night, cut tight
